10 MINUTE EXERCISE

Set a timer for 10 minutes and repeat the following sequence of three movements as many times as you can:

  1. 10 squats
  2. 10 push-ups
  3. 20 second plank

Holmes noted that “you can do this anywhere, anytime, without any equipment.”

The trainer explained that all you need to do is set a timer for 10 minutes and repeat the following three-move sequence as many times as you can: 10 squats, 10 push-ups, and a 20-second plank.

The footage shows him doing squats in the bathtub and on the living room table, planks on the kitchen island and chairs, and push-ups in and out of bed, proving that all three exercises can be done almost anywhere.

“If you’re trying to lose weight, you need to get more movement in every way you can,” he explained in the caption.

“Modify these moves as needed for your skill level and go for it!”

Holmes’ video has been viewed more than 19,000 times and received more than two dozen comments since it was posted last week.

“Don’t squat in the shower,” one person responded.

‘You [are] I’m not kidding about “you can do this anywhere” when you [are] boards [your] kitchen [island]’, joked another person.

“I have time, but I have no motivation and I don’t know how to stay motivated,” admitted another.

Holmes recently opened up about her own weight loss journey on Instagram, while sharing before and after photos of herself.

He explained that one of the “biggest mistakes” he made was thinking he could lose weight on his own and not “need to hire a trainer.”

“I jumped from 175 pounds to 237 pounds over a decade of my life,” he wrote. ‘I can’t remember or count how many times I’ve lost a lot of weight, only to gain it all back.

‘I don’t know how many stupid diets I’ve tried. Or stupid workout programs. Or thousands of dollars wasted on useless supplements and fat loss pills. All because my ego and my pride didn’t admit that I couldn’t figure it out on my own.

Holmes admitted that he spent more than a decade of his life “unhappy and frustrated” with his body because he “didn’t see the value in seeking help.”

“It took me from hitting rock bottom when everything in my life seemed to fall apart all at once for me to realize how much I was just getting in my own way,” he said.

‘About seven years ago, I finally got my head out of my a** and joined a coaching program with a local trainer. There was nothing special about the plan he gave me. Honestly, it was all things I’ve tried on my own before.

“But the responsibility, combined with the fact that I invested in my health and fitness, made me really prioritize my goals for the first time.”

Holmes said she stuck with the program for six months and lost a total of 20 pounds, which she has kept off for the past seven years.

“My mindset towards investing in myself has changed forever as it has literally changed my life for the better,” he added. ‘Health is really all we have

‘Without our health, everything else in life will be more difficult and less enjoyable. Without good health, the little time we have in this life becomes even shorter.

‘Investing in my health is something I will never stop doing.’
