Joey Swoll reacts to a young man who is slapped in the face and harassed while deadlifting: ‘This is disturbing’ – Fitness Volt

Joey Swoll has not given up on its mission to reverse the toxic culture of academia. In a recent TikTok video, a young man is seen being slapped in the face and harassed while trying to deadlift at his local gym. According to Swoll, the attacker has already been banned from the academy.

During the widely shared TikTok video, which has surpassed 356,000 likes, an angry man approaches the setter. He seemed to be waiting for the equipment, but before trying to talk, he hurled insults and even slapped the gym-goer in the face, saying:

“I’m lucky I didn’t get you out of this shit, bro. You’ve been there for a goddamn hour. Yes, it’s been an hour, you haven’t done anything! Do it my ass, I don’t give a fuck!” the man said via TikTok.

The man was clearly out of line, but Christian (the setter in the clip) appears to have taken the conflict in stride. He barely reacted and showed maturity in the face of the complete opposite. This was just the latest disturbing video calling for Joey Swoll’s analysis.

He continues to make gyms safer, more welcoming places for everyone. Whether it’s a lady falsely accusing a man of lusting after her or someone shaming a misguided weightlifter, Swoll hopes to restore social balance, one case at a time. In his most recent effort, Swoll condemned the attacker’s actions and stressed that the gym is a “brotherhood” of like-minded people.

‘You never lay hands or talk to someone like that’ – Joey Swoll calls out man for angry rant, fans react

Swoll praised the Fitness System gym, which was quick to ban the man from its facilities.

“This is one of the most disturbing videos I have ever received. You never lay hands or talk to someone like that when you’re at the gym or anywhere. Shout out to the idiot, he called me last night and sent me this video.”

“He did such a great job handling it that this Fitness System gym immediately banned that man from their gym so no one would have to deal with this type of bullying. And the young man who was shot in this video, Christian, spoke to him last night.

Shout out to him. He stayed calm, he stayed calm, he’s doing great. I’m sorry about what happened to you brother. No one should have to deal with this. But I’m also so happy to see the love and support you’re receiving. This shows me and all of you that the academy is a brotherhood of brothers. We will not tolerate seeing this type of behavior in gyms. We are a community and we all support each other,” shared Joey Swoll.

Not surprisingly, fans were stunned by the viral video. It didn’t take long for commentators to ask whether or not the filing of the complaint was justified:

Swoll’s dedication to spreading positivity in the gym has recently reached the realm of bodybuilding. He participated in a candid interview with retired former 7-time 212 boss Flex Lewis. During the special reunion, Swoll unearthed an in-depth conversation about addiction, suicide and mental health. Fortunately, Swoll is in a good position today and is able to help others suffering from similar problems.

As for his last gymnastics point, Swoll is thrilled that no one was seriously injured. What do you think of the video? Should the attacker face criminal charges, or is a gym ban sufficient punishment?
